MIT School of Distance Education (MITSDE) is an integral constituent of MAEER's MIT Pune, established in the year 2008. MAEER's MIT was founded in the year 1983 by Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, (Founder, Executive President & Managing Trustee) with the view of bringing excellence in education and innovation. MIT is among the first in professional education offering academic programs at more than 72 institutions and 4 universities across India.
Drawing from the rich & long legacy of MAEER’s MIT, MITSDE is born out of the need for upskilling in working professionals for creating a strong workforce equipped with industry-ready skills and relevant knowledge to effectively bridge the skill gap.

The entire application process for admissions at MITSDE is paperless and online, in line with MIT Group’s social responsibility to go green. You can fill out the application form online on the website and upload all the requisite documents or download the application form, fill it and email the scanned application form along with all the requisite scanned documents to admissions@mitsde.com For any assistance in filling the application form, call 9112-207-207
Step 1- Start the Application Process. Complete the Online Form. Documents to be scanned & uploaded for eligibility check.
Step 2- You will receive a pre-enrollment verification call to verify all the details submitted to avoid any discrepancy issues later. Then, You will receive a Welcome Mail to confirm your admission within 3-4 working days and your student account login details will be provided to you in a separate mail.
Step 3- You need to check all the details of your admission, in case there is any discrepancy you must inform us within 5 working days. You will receive your study kit in 7 working days.
Step 4- In case your admission status is "Provisional" you will receive your study kit and student account login details. However, you will not be able to do your assignments or examination until your admission status is "Confirmed". You need to complete your admission formalities to have a confirmed admission status.

The student will have to directly contact banks that offer educational loans. All the necessary documents required for securing an education loan will be provided, upon request.

Photo ID proof namely passport / PAN card/driver’s license / Aadhar card. 6. Yes. Applicants may apply to more than one department as long as they meet all of the application requirements, pay the required application fees, and submit separate applications by the required deadlines for each program.
MIT Graduate Admissions does not offer a dedicated tour or information sessions. Graduate applicants interested in visiting should contact the department or program of interest directly to see if arrangements can be made for a campus visit. If you are interested in visiting MIT, the Institute Events office has created useful information to help you plan your visit. The MIT Welcome Center also offers campus tours, which you may sign up for online.
Yes. Applicants to MIT graduate programs who have undocumented status are eligible to apply as international students, based on the same policy explained under the Undocumented Student section of the main Admissions Office website.
