The Koneru Lakshmaiah Charities was established as a trust in the year 1980 with its official address at Museum Road, Governorpet, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh 520 002, and started KL College of Engineering in the Academic year 1980-81.
KL Deemed to be University was established in 1980-81, as KL College of Engineering, which was upgraded to KL College of Engineering Autonomous in 2006 by UGC, and was declared as a Deemed to be University in 2009 by UGC, MHRD Govt. of India. In 2012 as a Deemed to be University the institution was accredited by NAAC with A Grade and later in 2018, was re-accredited by NAAC with A++ grade. In 2019 UGC, and MHRD declared this institution as a Category I Institution.
The main objective of this university is to Focus on the individual success of each student and to meet the educational needs of the students. Endow with students access to advanced learning and specialized courses, which may not be offered at their primary education in order to promote educational equality.
We promote the degree just like a Regular degree by a government-approved university.

The Admission Management system does all the work smoothly. We ensure that the procedure is done accurately and efficiently. The system is compatible with the web & mobile and can access anytime and from anywhere at the official site of the university.
Step 1- ONLINE REGISTRATION: One can register in the student portal and Enter your credentials for online admission as per requirements.
Step 2- UPLOAD SCANNED DOCUMENTS: Scan all the required documents like previous mark sheets, caste certificates, bonafide certificates, etc., and upload them.
Step 3- ONLINE FEES PAYMENT: Along with the submission of documents, you must pay nominal registration fees via the admission system integrated with a secured payment gateway.
Step 4- MERIT STATUS TRACKING: You can keep a tab on the status of your admission application via the dashboard of the system and If you are shortlisted for admission, you will get a notification on your portal and email/ SMS. You must pay admission fees.
Online Manipal University conducts exams in the online mode that are remotely proctored through their enhanced digital learning platform.
Once the user ID and password have been created and mailed to the students, he/She can login to the LMS and access the course lectures and videos. He can also download the learning app and start accessing the courses.
The evaluation includes continuous assessments in the form of home assignments and Quiz and Term End exams that include subjective questions.
Proof of academic qualification: attested/notarized photocopies of the last qualifying exam and statement of marks (degree certificate/mark sheet) Attested photocopy of the marriage certificate (if applicable) indicating a change in name.
You have to pay the fee online either by a debit or a credit card. No, you can’t pay the fees in installments.
The student has to pay the prescribed fee along with the examination fee to receive his/her individual marksheet and the provisional certificate. The same is included as part of the fees for final examination. The details shall be provided on the exam application form.
