Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham or Amrita University is a private deemed-university located in Coimbatore, India. It is a NAAC A++ accredited university and the 7th best university in India as per the NIRF Rankings 2023. AVV is a multi-campus, multi-disciplinary university with 15 schools spread across six campuses in the southern part of India. At present, AVV is offering 207 UG, PG, Doctoral, Integrated, Dual-Degree, and certification programs in Engineering, Management, Medical & Life Sciences, Arts and Humanities, and Social Sciences.
BTech, MTech, and MBA are the three most popular courses at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Candidates seeking admission to the BTech program must appear for the JEE Main or entrance exam. Admissions to the MTech program are offered on the basis of GATE/PGCET/ TANCET/PGECET scores. MBA admissions are based on the CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT/ GRE scores.

Amrita University admission process involves online registration, form filling, entrance test, release of merit list, and seat allotment. Admission to some of the courses is entrance-based while for others, merit in the last qualifying exam is taken into consideration. Candidates who meet the respective course-specific eligibility criteria can fill out the online application form. Details regarding each stage of the admission procedure are explained in the following sections.
Step 1- Students interested in getting admission into Amrita University must complete the online application process for the desired course. Eligible students can apply by visiting its official website (amrita.edu). The application procedure involves online registration, form filling, document upload, and application fee payment.
Step 2- After the application process, candidates have to go through the course-specific entrance exam followed by other selection rounds (if applicable). After the selection rounds are over, course-wise selection lists can be released by the university on its official website (with the names of the shortlisted students).
Step 3- Candidates who make it to the selection list can report to the university to confirm their seat. Some amount of fee may have to be paid for admission confirmation as per university requirements.
Step 4- Save and print out the application form for further formalities.

The Collaborative program consists of Two Masters Degrees: (i) MBA and (ii) MS in Management. The MS is a specialized degree that is uniquely designed to provide aspiring professionals with focused knowledge and skills and The MBA is a Management degree in Business that is designed to grow into Management positions in any industry.
The classes will be held at the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bangalore campus. Amrita has constructed a state-of-the-art classroom facility for this program. The faculty from SUNY Buffalo and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and the industry experts will come to Bangalore to conduct the classes.
Each course would consist of appropriate combinations of Lectures by Instructors, guest lectures by field experts, Case studies, Student group presentations, Tutorials wherever appropriate, Soft skills training, Audio-visual presentations, Projects, and Exams.
The uniform is compulsory to appear for the Exam, otherwise, the student will not be allowed to enter the Exam Hall.
