Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is one of India's largest central universities with an enrollment of more than 37327 students. The university welcomes students from all states in India and from different countries, especially from Africa, West Asia, and Southeast Asia. AMU has now 13 faculties comprising 117 teaching departments, 3 academies, and 21 centers and institutes. At AMU, most of the staff and students reside on campus where there are 19 residence halls for students and 80 hostels. AMU has off-campuses in Murshidabad (West Bengal), Malappuram (Kerala), and Kishanganj (Bihar). AMU offers more than 300 courses in the traditional and modern branches of education. Apart from the common courses like BA, B.Voc., BSc, etc., the university is also popular for its B.Tech and MBBS programs.
However, the complete AMU placements for 2023 have not yet been made public. In AMU Placements 2022, a total of 5,597 students (both UG and PG combined), and about 1,228 have been placed in top-notch companies. The highest salary package offered to a BTech student was INR 21 LPA and the median package stood at INR 10 LPA.

The procedure applicable for admission to AMU courses through online mode is as follows:
Step 1- Before starting with the application form, candidates need to register themselves as new user on the official website. Candidates need to create a username, and password as well as fill in the required details such as Name and Email ID and, calculate the captcha code and enter it to register successfully. Once all details are filled in and submitted, a user ID and password will be sent to candidates at their registered email addresses. Candidates need to login into their accounts using their user ID and password and proceed towards the next step of the AMUEE through the login window.
Step 2- Fill out the Application Form with correct scanned documents like photos, signature, mark sheets, etc.
Step 3- Candidates can pay the application fee in online mode through net banking/ debit card/ credit card. The application fee to be paid per category
Step 4- After filling in all the details and fee payment, candidates can submit the application form in online mode only. Candidates should download the application form after submitting it and get printouts for future reference.
Online Manipal University conducts exams in the online mode that are remotely proctored through their enhanced digital learning platform.
Yes, AMU is a very good option to pursue an MBA degree. In the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023 rankings, Aligarh Muslim University has been ranked 55 in the Management category. Talking about AMU placements, the median package offered to the PG (2-Year) courses was INR 7.5 LPA. So, yes AMU is good for MBA.

Aligarh Muslim University offers a two-year full-time MBA course at the postgraduate level covering several specializations. AMU MBA admission 2023 is completely entrance-based and depends on candidates performance in the CAT national-level entrance test, followed by a GD & PI round. The total seat intake for the AMU MBA course is 120 (the University will update seats of any particular course for the upcoming year 2024).
AMU conducts its own entrance test called Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test (AMU-CAT) for admission to the MBA course.
Aligarh Muslim University offers a wide range of courses at the UG, PG and PhD levels. AMU courses are being offered under AMU is 13 faculties, including Agricultural Sciences, Arts, Commerce, Engineering & Technology and Law, among others.
